I am fascinated with unique abilities that people have. Here is an obvious one: synesthesia. I play piano and I envy this one a lot. Another piano-related one would be perfect pitch. I don't have that either.
One that I am developing though is that when I hear music I kind of automatically tell which note is higher or lower and by how many semitones (piano keys) apart, but not all that precisely yet.. I can tell it's an ability that's a work in progress. Eventually I would assume that I will get so good that I will have a virtual piano in my head and could pretty much pinpoint where all the notes are on a piano. Another one from video games is sort of "feeling" the weight of the character/object you're controlling based on how all the imagery is changing onscreen. I'm sure a lot of people here would know what I'm talking about? Another phenomenon similar to this happens with pilots when they fly. I guess they can "feel" the wings of the plane.
