Currently at S02E22.
I forgot how long Mark stayed around. Thought he left a few episodes into season 2. Dude is a wet blanket that made the show suffer. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Mark was surgically removed from the show the second Ben and Chris arrived and yeah the show was much better for it.

It's pretty interesting how much better the show gets after Mark is gone, it's like he drags the entire thing down.

Mark was so out of place. He was genuine self-centered but in an irredeemable way in a show that eventually became wholesome and about characters that are capable of doing selfless things despite their personality.
Yeah the show got good almost as soon as he was gone --- "Iwata was awesome" - Mr. Nintendo https://i.imgtc.com/7dRrfE1.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I just can't comprehend how one character can bring a shown down so much by being... dull. I mean, I can see an annoying character ruining a show, or an obnoxious one or even a mary-sue. But with him, he just has nothing going for him. Ben played a much better and funnier "down to earth" character than Mark did, at least in the earlier seasons before he got even more wacky. --- Congratulations! I honestly didn't mind his character. The first season has a different vibe to it than all the other ones and I think he fit in well enough with it.
I agree he wouldn't have worked well in just about any other season though --- Pine State milk ... Copied to Clipboard!

Now the question is, is it shit writing, or a shit actor.

Eh, I liked his character. I don't think he dragged the show down at all.

All the characters acted differently. I guess he was fine in S1 but he should have left right at S2. I really love Ron and April's dynamic. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
