No idea what math is in the GED but typically since I think it's high school level, they just expect you to be able to apply the concepts, not actually understand them so get the booklist for your local high school or something. Or CC if there are any offering GED courses

Get more practice solving test problems. Places like Khan Academy have good resources for prep, and are free.

Make damned sure that you understand the qualitative underpinnings of the mathematics. That is, the words in the textbook that describe what's going on with the numbers and symbols. The biggest problems I've had with math is trying to half ass my way through it instead of trying to get a good understanding of the material. And, as Sonic Cannon said, make sure that you practice it.

Sign up here. Its free and i'm sure they will have the resources to teach and guide you through the math levels you need. If that isn't enough go to the local library and check out a textbook from the math section that will give you practice problems.

It will start to click and when you go to get your GED you won't be freaked out and panic over things you haven't seen before.

You'll be prepared.

Don't give up. I somehow passed the algebra test on the last day possible just before the graduation ceremony.
