I'd say let it be, if it's in the corner doing no harm it's usually fine.
It could be worse. Twice now I've had 2 different spiders of the same type build a web in my bedroom doorway. You know how annoying it is to go through a door you've gone through countless times only to suddenly have a 10 inch diameter web with supports spanning the entire door and it's just below face level? >:( I forcibly relocated them, but the one in the window is ok.
