Surprising that conservatives and libertarians who are all for personal freedom dont care about the people losing land over this. My father was mad when imminent domain was used to steal part of his land for government work, but doesnt care now and supporting it happening to Americans on the border?

Not to mention the ramifications itll have on the environment. You cant just go putting up a massive walk through nature and not expect it to have consequences. This isnt a simple building or an already urbanized area, much of the area is untamed wilderness that will be affected for decades and this is a titanic huge expensive statue to Trumps ego that will likely barely curb illegal immigration. Id be surprised if he doesnt have TRUMP emblazoned on the side.

News at 11. People usually don't care about eminent domain unless it affects them. Because people usually can't see how it benefits the greater public when it negatively affects them personally.

Most people who vote in elections vote for what benefits them personally over the greater public also.
