This was happening to me. I don't remember what exactly I did to fix it, but I think it might have been logging out and back in to my gmail account.

Not having any trouble signing in, but its constantly turning off dark mode for some reason.

I tried erasing cookies and double checked my settings and nothing was off. Restarted the computer but it still had the issue. But just now it seems to be keeping me signed on. Must've been yet another Youtube bug.
