That poor old man, assuming the window had glass and he was just letting her see outside....

As a father to a 15 month old girl, this crushes my heart.

At the same time the cruise ship shouldn't be responsible for this. I get the families pain.

And the grandfather has to take this to his grave.

This was just a unfortunate accident. But they will sue and win something.

... You realize the whole upper deck of a cruise ship is just open with a regular like stomach-high railing, right? And the same can be said of the hundreds of balcony cabins...

This. If the child had to be lifted up to the window then it's no different than a child or adult sitting on a railing and falling over what can they do? Hang nets around the entire ship?

You have to be kind of dumb though - you can see how different the actual windows look from the open air, plus... like you can feel the air there.

Looks like the attorney had a little chat with ol' grandpa. At first he said it was his fault. Now he's saying "I thought there was glass there!" For shame. Trying to profit off this unfortunate incident.
