I actually didn't know they had to be hit in order when I was doing the blockhead on Oni Island and I was losing my absolute shit because I was laying down dots just right and still getting no results. I drew Blockhead on a sheet of paper and then just scribbled in the dots as they flashed, then I would go and hit 'em and it would show that I hit all the right spaces, but he'd be all "Behehehe I'm a fucking douche and that didn't work for reasons" so I had to google. Genuinely thought my game was broken.
