Context: had an interview on Thursday for a manager position at a different spot on campus. Pretty sure I was the last interview too, as when I was given the possible dates, it was the last one by multiple days.

Anyway, two of my references were on the committee in charge of the search and one of them just texted congrats to me and talked about helping with salary negotiations and whatnot.

So yeah. Just waiting for official word now I guess.

After talking with one of my coworkers at work today about it (she was one of the other candidates), shes pretty sure we both got it. Just waiting on the email about the background check and theres a chance well get the official call Wednesday, but it just depends on how long HR has their thumbs up their ass.

That sucks dick man. Have you contacted them at all? Happened one time to me. Didnt hear anything back for a week+ so I emailed the interviewer and he was like oh yeah we went with someone else.

Was just thinking that an email when the decision was made would have been nice. Sorry but we are deciding on a different candidate, thanks for interviewing is all I needed.

I e-mailed the HR (I think it was outsourced), they didn't respond. Pretty sure they don't think I'm qualified enough, the application is still up on job sites.
