It's as important to eat close to immediately after you wake up, even if you aren't all that hungry. Get your metabolism kicked into gear when you get up for the day, so it will function efficiently throughout the day. I suggest a healthy cereal with skim milk, or oatmeal. I tend to do a lot of bran flakes or Total/Special K as an option.

And yeah, dinner should be your last meal at a reasonable time. If you feel hunger closer to bed, a tall glass of water can help.

While it does help, the effects are often overblown. Unless of course your whole diet revolves around intermittent fasting.
