I've had super diverse and seemingly random pains for 10 years, granted I actually have physically diagnosed problems. I've had them for so long that now I get new or reoccurring pains that Im like "This feels like it could kill me, eh who gives a shit anymore". Because after 10 years of that feeling never actually resulting in death it seems like you're just making the educated bet that it's just not gonna kill you.

And Im talking crippling stomach pain at times and piercing sudden pains in the heart type shit. But I see it as, I can't figure out how to stop it but what I can do is stop letting it drain me mentally. So my thought process is "oh fuck, the hell...what should I eat?".

Hypochondriac is when you feel symptoms based on suggestion of your own mind imaging things that aren't real. Your pain is very real, it just isn't going to kill you and you've steeled yourself kind of like a warrior tbh

I have insurance and I use it. I got an MRI a coue months ago, after going to ER for severe stomach pain. My insurance is what led me to this train of thought. Nothing ever comes out of the tests. So eventually my mind shifts to "is this all in my head then?"

Isn't it possible the fear just left my direct conscious and lives in my subconscious tho. Still pulling strings.

Sometimes I feel like thinking away from the pain directly helps. However this could also just mean Im not putting fuel to an actual fire instead of creating the entire fire from nothing.

All I know is this shit is confusing and it's become easier to pretend it's not worth addressing anymore.

However, their latest theory is that my scoliosis might be pushing on shit and causing pain not only in the obvious places scoliosis causes pain. I go in to discuss if surgery in an option on the 1st.

Done it. I didn't just get a MRI over the 10 years lol. It was a couple years ago tho. I've had much weirder tests than that too. Even more intrusive, if you can believe it
