Philosophically speaking, what is it?
A train or piece of a train?
This ones a real head scratcher fellas. An event just happened right before my eyes and I dont know how to put it into words!

I like trains. But I cant decide if what I just witnessed was a train or not. So needless to say Im not very sure how Im supposed to feel about the object.

It'd just be a locomotive/engine, with the forward direction being the leading end and the ass being the trailing end. Alternatively you could call it head/tail, but it's not a proper train due to being alone.

It'd be like calling those trucks that have the special pizza cutter wheels a train when by itself. If it's a combo power unit then one would be leading and the other trailing locomotive/engine. Shortening it to train is fine though.

I've always said train engine,there was one I had to learn its schedule because the engine would be going to park for the day blocking me while leaving work.
