What's there to be glad of? People live just fine with a foreskin. It's there to protect your penis. Without the social stigma of having a foreskin, what's there to hate about it? Looks? That's more a personal problem. It takes weeks for a circumcised penis to recover and in that time that baby is still learning to cope with the world. It's first few weeks of existence is extreme pain and discomfort. With circumcision you have to worry about risk of infection from a soiled diaper if the baby didn't end up with a botched circumcision.

For one, I doubt that's anywhere near accurate, and two, the answer to that is to not choose a doctor that doesnt.

Both my sons were done by a highly respected doctor that does nothing but circs. And the only time they cried was during the needle to freeze it. And that wasnt from the needle itself, but from the freezing spreading (they numb the area with cream ahead of the needle).

When the freezing wore off hours later, not a peep. No crying, no anything. And nothing in the days ahead. Stop spreading your "they are weeks in extreme pain" garbage dude. You're not a doctor and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Did you watch the procedure yourself? I have never heard of a doctor administering anaesthetic via syringe for circumcision. By and large that is not done. Stop downplaying the effects of genital mutilation. The benefits are negligible and do not outweigh the risks. It is a pointless procedure that harms many and some even die from it.

Healthy male genitalia don't accumulate 'dick cheese' just after one day of not showering. Do you think vagina is also clean and dry by the end of the day? Should women get circumsized too, cause by your logic protective layer of skin is gross? It's genitals, it's normal for them to be naturally moisturized, and it isn't filth.
By the way, there are other alternatives to circumsizing, such as in Japan they pull foreskin up since childhood and it just stays that way eventually
