I have some questions

First, why do you think crypto is the future of currency?

My understanding is that it's selling point is that its decentralized from banks and government bodies, but why is that necessarily a good thing? Dont you want currency to be backed by governing institutions?

I'm not necessarily convinced that it is, but I am interested it Bitcoin as a store of value due to the scarcity of it.

Not really. Government backing works because we have faith that the government pays their debts. That may not always be true.

I'm no expert in crypto by any means, but I am learning. There are others here who know way more than I do.
