18 y/o Alyssa Carson from Louisiana is the likely candidate to go to MARS in 2030 as she's always wanted to go to space since she was 3 years old after telling her dad she wanted to be an astronaut!!

It's a dream for many young kids as she is dubbed the most likely candidate to go to mars and she's not afraid to DIE either!!

The 18 y/o is an ambassador of Mars One 2020, a mission to establish a human colony on the planet and is as adavnced in her training as astronauts in a decade senior than her

She said "I know that when i was 3 years old, saying i wanted to become an astronaut and eventually go to Mars was definitely the craziest dream i could have picked, and one of the hardest"

She is qualified at seven space camps across the world, making her the first person to attend all NASA Space Camps Worldwide.

At the age of 12, she became the first to complete NASA Passport Programme in November 2013 and trained at all 14 NASA sites across nine states

She is now waiting to start a university course in astrobiology with a view to becoming a fully fledged astronaut

In 2016, Space X CEO Elon Musk warned the first journeys to the Red Planet will be "very dangerous" with a high risk of death but alyssa says she isn't scared and says there's always a risk and it's a part of a mission to accept as people put their trust in them to make it happen.....

She teamed up with Horizn Studios to design a special NASA approved limited edition "smart" suitcase to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing next week

If she is approved to go to Mars in 11 years, she'll leave her life behind for 3 years or longer and while she admits that's the hardest part, it's a sacrifice she's willing to make for EARTH a going to mars is full circle to her

People underestiate her knowledge and the amount of training she's done due to her age but then she'll try to dumb it down for them to make them understand
