The 2010 census indicated those under 18 account for 73 million, and those over 65 account for 35 million. If those individuals were what she meant, that is still no where near the 200 million. Her 'estimate' means that 2/3s of the population makes under $10/hour at full time hours. 40% of US workers made less than 20000 last year. 40% of workers is not 200 million people, and median wage is the lowest its been since 1998. 40% of workers doesn't include things like children or the elderly, so 40% of workers also means all of those workers (grand)parents and children who aren't able to work need to be supported off of that 20k/year. The number fluctuates year to year but that >20k figure usually seems to jump between the mid-30%s and 40%. She got the number of people pretty wrong, but she wasn't that off about the workforce.
