like holy shit the aroma is amazing. the taste is the same since i drink black coffee, but 50% of coffee enjoyment is the aroma. i add it after it's done brewing and ready to be drank because i noticed the cinnamon aroma tend to fade after a while

i have decent beans and already love the aroma. the bits of cinnamon have distinct sweet smell that imo when combined with my coffee it smells so good.

It's good in the really shitty tub coffee you buy for 4.99 but otherwise it kills good coffee

Pro tip:
Pick up dry lavender flowers at Sprouts (or wherever). Add those to your ground up coffee before you brew it.

The smell is lovely, the taste is outstanding (although this is better with cream, because the smoothness helps the floral notes), and theres a super noticeable anti-anxiety, relaxing effect. You get the motivating stimulation of the coffee, with a serene calmness and euphoria from the lavender (especially if youre like me and brew STRONG coffee with a generous amount of flowers). It combines to make this perfect happy morning feeling, and Ive honestly felt it entirely appropriate to compare it to the afterglow feeling from morning sex, if I may hype it up a bit.

Nice. Does lavender tea produce the same effect?

The calming side only. Its wonderful for drinking before bed because the effect of lavender can be pretty strong. The problem though is that its not as functional for daytime use, because it can actually make you genuinely tired and a bit too relaxed.

I remember a couple years ago me and my ex had a diffuser and put some lavender oil into it because we loved the smell, and we ran the thing daily. But for somewhere around a week straight we ended up drifting into naps at random times in the afternoons and evenings haha, and we had no idea why. We didnt yet know just how effective the stuff can be!

So thats where the coffee/lavender hybrid comes in. It meets at the perfect intersection for being both motivating and energizing yet blissfully stress-relieving and calming.

EDIT: unless perhaps youre asking about putting a lavender tea bag into your coffee cup itself? Its kinda nice, Ive done it but its not as enjoyable for me. For one, theres always a whole cocktail in all lavender tea bags, with the lavender itself being a smaller percentage, compared to the generous 1-2 pinches of flowers I use for my brew, so the effect is a bit weaker. And the flavor can be nice but its less pure and less focused than going with the single-ingredient added into the grounds, so it tastes nice for sure but theres just a lot going on in that cup. TLDR: its fine but much weaker and the flavor is all over the place.

I sometimes put in some cinnamon before brewing, gives flavor as well as aroma. I like it
