He needs to lead with the problem itself more since UBI focus makes him seem like a gimmick candidate. Seeing as how money is the main problem, because the rich have no obligation to care about the people when making their business decisions, I don't think UBI is a gimmick. It's just another money-related solution. Unlike canceling student loan debt, UBI would help everyone and students can use that money also to pay off their debts. So I don't see the gimmick.
