No. Pretty happy playing a 11-year-old game (Tales of Vesperia), actually. :)

Except from the fact you have this "new games are bad" mentality for like 15 years so by the time Vesperia came out you were against new games as well

I remember in middle school how i hated modern bands because they weren't classics

Must be sad to never grow out of that mindset

It's since PS4 came out or so. Games sadly started getting much worse quite quickly. Except for Nintendo games, which I don't even play.

Oh really? Not being classics is the least of contemporary games' problem. Not being good is the big one. Flashy graphics alone don't make a game good. The funny thing about gaming is that teams of 5 people (often even a single person) made amazing games back in the 80s and early 90s, which today's games made by teams of 5000 people working for some corporation can't even come close to matching.

Only a very small subsection of them, actually. There are good indie games, though, Kupo is right. Still, they are a drop in the ocean, especially if we talk budgets. The big studios pump out turd after turd despite spending billions on them. It's despicable.

I like how he doesn't deny the actual statement.

Anyways the irony is that Vesperia was pretty disappointing to go back to after a "modern" entry like Berseria
