I played this for an hour years ago and then moved on to more exciting stuff at the time.

I've been at it now for some time, probably taking more time on the first mission than I should....it's been 15 in game years and still no clear. BUT I've got about $500,000 in the treasury and about half that in my secret account. Probably going to make more because I'm constructing a Rum Distillery and a Weapons Plant.

I'm also convinced that the Environmentalists will forever hate me, given my play style and how easily everything bothers them. I make my dump accept imports just to piss them off more.

Edicts...Edicts, ah.

We've banned contraception for the moment (Island needs more babies, not more immigrants!)
Social Security so people have something to like from me
And a literacy program cause the US is paying for it.

But I should probably build some damn entertainment now so the mission ends because it's starting to feel like a true sandbox game now.
