I don't think people really understand how competitive men's soccer is Internationally. The fact that USMNT usually at least goes to round of 16 is a pretty fucking big accomplishment on it's own.

No the women's team may get better results but A the women's league is less competitive because a lot of countries dont take women sports as seriously. And then B theres the physical differences between men and women.

I really enjoyed watching the Women's cup, and I have since 1999...I was kinda asking myself the same question today, but I realized later that they would have gotten manhandled by either of the random MLS teams that played in the game on Fox after the final. It wouldn't have been competitive at all.
