And it's at exactly the same fucking spot as the last time. Fuck these races, fuck this game, and fuck Kevin VanOrd at Gamespot for giving this an 8/10.

It's a decent enough game

definitely not one of the stronger entries in the series but I don't remember having much trouble with it

I've now played on two different systems, and I'm at the same mission with the same exact problems. Where Ezio would normally leap across rooftops, in this mission he hops down to a lower ledge, jumps to the next wall, and has to climb back up in that slow Ubisoft "I HAVE TO GET EVERY FRAME OF ANIMATION" way. Also jumping down into a haystack near the end. This is bad design.

This is a story mission? I don't remember any of them being particularly hard.

That's the thing, it really shouldn't be. It's a race, and I've even got three guys who are supposed to be in front of me to lead the way. The problem is that Ezio isn't behaving like he has the whole rest of the game. I feel like I'm fighting the system more than facing a challenge.

Wow, I just looked up said race and I can't remember the problem

Really enjoyed this game even if it was the point AC started to wear me down (with 3 finishing the job once and for all).

Revelations was tough for me to enjoy at times. I'm not sure if it was the intergenerational aspect of the game that was putting too much finality on the two leads for me at that point or the sort-of "hold up on progressing Desmond" aspect that was wearing me down. But the music and the setting were really impressive. I think I was reaching a critical mass with Desmond by Rev, and once I got past his story, the series really lightened up and became more enjoyable.
