Dunno, the game is challenging but not 1 hour of attempts challenging.

Ori was one of the most disappointing games for me, and that sequence was a good example. It's the kind of thing you can only beat after many forced deaths. It's not challenging or interesting, it's just tedious.

Cmon TC that part is like the first boss in the game. Its one of my favorite parts. My casual gamer gf almost made it all the way on her first try but even then it only took her like two more tries.

It's cake after you get the hang of the mechanic, it's the controls of that which trips most people up.

That was really the only part like that though, and it's mostly getting used to the weird mechanic. Ori is stellar imo.

But now I think I went the wrong way in a branching path and have to backtrack a bunch to get where I am actually suppose to go.

Be warned, the reason I never finished it is because I got lost with no clue whatsoever where I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to be doing. So you'll be doing that a lot.

Well fuck. Now I am stuck at a part where there is a door but I don't have whatever I need to open it, and to make things worse I never found the map stone for that area so I have no idea where to go or where anything is.

Everyone has different roadblocks when it comes to games. And it doesn't always make sense. I recall the Tree only taking me a couple of times too. Chances are TC will absolutely ace a section I did have trouble with. I think I may have had trouble with the ending sequence actually.

It's definitely feasible to get through that part without dying.

So I beat the game and wanted to go back and try to collect all the orbs and stuff and apparently you can only explore post game if you have the Definitive Edition. WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT

It's there. I wish I could remember exactly where and when it happened but after going through the entire map four times I just gave up since I couldn't tell what the fuck I was supposed to do. I started over but the memory of that makes me wonder if I'll just give up again.
