I've done this sorta topic a few times before, and the results have always been interesting. This one will probably be less so, because I have a pretty clear idea of what the dominant option is gonna be, but I thought that about my last topic and it didn't turn out that way, so let's see!

Previous results:
- Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Smash Bros. Ultimate were all too close to give a hierarchy.
- Persona 5 > Persona 4 > Persona 3 was fairly definitive (I really thought 4 would take the crown).

I'm playing the 3rd one right now. Just finished chapter 5. So far I like D2 better. A lot of V3's trials are like weird copies of 2's but less good. I don't know if that's intentional or not

DR3 has the best combo of cast/interpersonal relationships, DR1 feels the most realistic and adds some emotional weight, and DR2 is the most convoluted and too focused on a single character.

DR1 was basically all about Kirigiri who was boring as hell, at least DR2 had the decency to focus on more captivating characters.

I just started 2 recently. I dunno if Id say its better or worse than 1 yet, but so far it has a similar problem of not enough good characters.

I want to know who the other 1 > 2 > v3 guy is so we can team up

Crazy to think my vote is currently making the difference, and I have just recently switched to a V3 > 2 > 1 guy.

When I first beat V3, I had a tough time figuring out whether it was better than 1 or not, which is impressive, considering I think 1 is legitimately a bad game. Yet the more I sit on it (which is coming up on a year, I think), the more I appreciate all the twists. Now I think it's absolutely brilliant and even better than 2, which was already one of my favorite visual novels I've ever played.

All 3 of them feel similar and close enough that any order could work IMO. I ultimately go with V3 > 2 > 1 since I think the series got a little better over time. It helps that I actually liked V3's big twist.

There's some stuff in 2 that will always be #1 for me, but V3 just dominates and ends up being my favorite video game.
