Larry David proved it by taking his same self-centered character into further success with Curb Your Enthusiasm. And I like the series finale. Most people have a hard time with it because they can't come to terms with the fact that the main characters of Seinfeld are awful people. I think I laughed the hardest when the Soup Nazi episode first aired. Problem is that the episode simply cannot be as funny on later viewings IMO. But it had the best original showing for me.
