Every time I try something new it works for 1 or 2 days then it comes back more aggressive. Any help?

Are you using tea tree oil shampoo? Don't wash your hair every day btw.

Also, try and get a bottle of Luster's Pink original hair lotion. It's amazing for your scalp, especially if you have curly hair.

Lather
Rinse
Run comb through hair
Repeat

I mean, I don't even know how safe this is. But at one point, I was getting a zinc pill from the drug store, letting two sit in hot water for a few minutes, and i'd mix the contents in with my regular dandruff shampoo. I let it set until it legitimately burned and I rinsed it out, like 2-3 minutes tops. It just destroyed any trace of flakes I had.

Again, the burning sensation, I have no idea how safe it is or isn't, but it worked and it's been a go-to for me when I have minor issues for the last 15+ years.

If I wash my hair every other day then does that mean I just wet it on those off days? To get rid of the hair product? I don't have to add anything else?

Keep doing it every 1 or 2 days then. I have dandruff too and using a special shampoo every 2-3 days keeps it at bay.

I use this Hawaiian Shea butter shampoo & conditioner. Also make sure that youre using the products properly.

Its a dark blue bottle. Costs a little bit more but works wonders.

Leave in your hair for 5 minutes or so.

There are two types of dandruff, one cause by a dry head and one caused by a fungus that lives on your head.

You gotta figure out which one you have before you can even resolve it

First find out if you actually have dandruff (which is when your body has a genetic reaction to fungus and produces new skin rapidly causing the not-so-old scalp to flake off in large chunks). If you do, head and shoulders for a few weeks should keep it at bay. You can never be cured though, remember that. I wash with it every day.
