Yknow maybe the LGBT should take this as a sign that theyre being too aggressive in their marketing and are making enemies of people who may have totally been on their side had they not felt like the LGBT wanted to view them as an enemy.

But nah, minorities cant possibly do anything wrong and no one should care when they act toxic and hateful to the majority. Obviously intolerance is the only reason they could be acting this way and these people should just roll over and allow themselves to be shamed for their indirect oppression of others.

I went back and read the first post.

There were no mechanisms, accelerants, or actual explosive material in the sent letters, only glitter and bible passages.

Is that still considered glitter bombing?

It is, because opening the package is usually enough to send the glitter flying, especially if theres good airflow.

LMAO

Im sorry if you dont have an understanding of aerodynamics but these glitter bombs were sent in standard envelopes. It is not at all uncommon for someone to tear one open instead of opening it gently and that act can easily send the glitter flying.

I'm incredibly relieved that I never managed to get one of these envelopes open. Just think how carelessly I endangered my entire neighborhood every single day just by not understanding the aerodynamics involved in mail. Why aren't these solely in the hands of trained professionals!?

Uhhhh no, thats just the equivalent of sending bananas to someone who hates bananas. Though Im confused about the bible part.

Wouldnt put it past someone to take it further and do an actual glitterbomb, but I guess its nice to see that didnt quite happen.

Doesnt change my stance on this matter though. If they wanted to express hate, itd be a lot more direct.

So far everything about this one has been non-homophobic. Thats pretty much the point theyre trying to get across, that the mainstream LGBT politics has become intolerant and completely hypocritical. Its not about insulting or fearing anyone as it is about proving a point.

Glitter could blind someone, get in their nose and cause issues and many other things. Threatened isn't the right word however I'd be really pissed if some idiot decided to throw glitter at me uninvited. Although I suppose that could be said about anything.
