The article covered why she filmed him. She said he followed her when she went to the bathroom and she thought the threat of video evidence might be her only possible defense if he was going to try something.

That's saying that, had she been more attractive, it would have been normal to cast aside all social mores/skills and just ogle indiscriminately at her. In the US yes. It used to be a big deal when celebrities had a nip slip or "forgot" to wear panties while wearing a skirt. Now there are laws in place about revenge porn. I wonder if that would protect celebrities. Idk.

It's literally the scourge of this generation right now. Every day there's a new story of someone posting someone else, sometimes out of context, without their consent -- and then thinking it's okay because they felt that person deserved public ridicule for whatever reason.

The only time this is okay is if you're documenting actual physical violence and/or it involves someone of authority. "Exposing" other civilians is just a terrifying concept.
