You should have gotten it a couple weeks ago when it was $3

It has better gameplay than NBA live, but their shameless online progress system and pay to win makes it almost unplayable.

The game itself taking those factors away is solid.

Depends on what mode you play. Franchise stuff is still good.

The career and online team up mode is designed for you to grind with a shitty player for dozens of hours or spend money.

It means they make it very time consuming to raise your characters stats without spending money on their virtual currency

Huh? Not really. That only happens if you suck or skip most of the seasons. If you're decent, you'll be at least 80 rank soon enough. Getting to and past 90? Yeah that takes time. But that's it.

It was obviously an exaggeration but even playing well you get scraps of VC per game and it's just actually not fun when your player is such a low rating

I disagree. It's pretty easy to get up to 80 and it's decently fun on the way there. If you're good. If you're not, just farm vc until you're good.

I've been playing the myplayer mode and it's been alright. I got to 70ish already and didnt play much. They definitely want you to spend money in the game though, some of the AI shit is ridiculous.

For reference its taken me the entire prologue and half of the first season, playing every game, to get my character from 60 to 72, and it only gets harder as the VC cost gets absurdly high. You get a daily spin for prizes and daily challenges to get 3,000 extra VC. You also get sponsorship events occasionally to get more vc.

Thank god I only paid $3 because its basically a freemium game

The hardest part is starting at such a low level playing against fucking 90+ all star players lol but it forces you to pull back and not play it like you're a super star.

And did he play well? Because playing well gets you significantly more VC.
