The Japanese site went live and it was accompanied by a 5 minute video and ~30 second clips of all the 34 confirmed playable characters. Also a lot of the gameplay is in the Hero Camera mode (focusing on the currently controlled character as opposed to overhead focus on all four), so it's cool they're showing that off some more.

It doesn't confirm any new playable characters, but it alludes to the possibility of playable Black Bolt, Medusa, Winter Soldier, and maybe even Loki.

My only real exposure to Marvel is the movies/TV shows and some 90s cartoons. Almost everything I know is represented in some way except my favorite of the MCU show, so I'm hoping Quake will be in for that AoS rep.

This game being stuck on the Switch at 30 fps makes me super sad but otherwise it's looking totally amazing. The multiplayer shenanigans should be amazing.

Man that cinematic behind the character camera makes the game look a lot more engaging for some reason lol. Although I'll still get the game to play mainly multiplayer.

Honestly they're all kind of bad button mashers that dont give you a lot of variety of how you play and get stale fast.

But they are incredibly fun to be with some buddies, drinking and playing. Day 1 buy for me

Guess there's gonna be one more bit of news on the 18th at some Marvel games conference. It's a day before release though, so unless it's DLC related whatever it is will probably be found out from people getting the game early.

Hopefully it's news that Cyclops and Colossus are actually playable. I'm also expecting a playable Thanos because the final villain has been playable in all of the other games.
