A lot of people in general are already going to McDonald's simply because of the brand and familiarity with the brand... It wasn't really anything special, just tasted like a regular flame-grilled burger. They pretty much are a "people know what they're getting" type of deal but they're always trying to improve the experience regardless. They're the first ones to do drive-thru. They're the first to do combo meals at a discount / ordered by number. They were one of the first fast food places to have widescale uber eats adoption. Lots of restaurant trends that people take for granted these days are people just copying McDonald's.
