To put a long story short, I got into a fight with a guy a while back because I found out he was abusing my friend. Its been a long ordeal, with a lot of court proceedings over domestic abuse charges and what will happen with the kids.

He recently started dating a new girl, and hes going to abuse her too. Hes got a history of it. So I messaged her on Facebook. Nothing more than a quick message simply explaining that Hey, this guy has a history of abuse. You should be careful.

Her reply was literally that she doesnt believe me, and that even if he did do it, the women probably deserved to be beaten. I was kind of taken back by that, because I didnt think people actually thought like that in real life...

Anyway, is there anything else I can do here? I feel like I need to help somehow. My wifes getting upset that Im a upset over another woman, but Id be doing the same thing if it was a guy. The way Im looking at it is that theres someone whos going to be abused and beaten, and I could possibly stop that from happening. I dont want to just let it go, but Im not sure what to do or even say.

What do I do guys?

You already warned her, which is good. Beyond that, it's not your role to pamper other adults. If your wife's upset, and CONSIDERING you already warned the lady, just mind your own business and don't turn into some overly intrusive awareness-raising superhero.
