I never minded being around cats before but we got one recently and I cant stand it. Always jumping up on everything, following me around the house, loud purring, walking on me when Im trying to sleep. How do people enjoy having these things in their house??

I love the attention even if it's slightly annoying at times. The only thing I did back when I had a cat is I'd shut my door to keep her out of my room. I wake easily and a cat walking around snoopin in the room always would wake me up. >_>

I just dont like how cats must have an open door to wander in and out of a room at will, generally. So it can be hard for me to sleep with a cat, since I cant sleep with any of my doors open. Just feels weird. Otherwise, theyre cool. Just surprisingly needy.
