That shit is incredible. Spider-Man 2 isn't bad, but it lacked the spark that I loved so much about the first movie. And the third one is undeniably mishandled, but with the removal of a single villain - like even if they decided to save Eddie Brock's Venom for a fourth movie, and left it at him getting the suit/getting fired for plagiarism, that movie could have been tightened up into something workable. Are they dated and corny, left behind in the shadow of the current superhero blockbuster climate? Sure.
