Poll of the Day > Anyone here know any good Fallout: New Vegas mods?

Looking to finally play the game with mods after 3 playthroughs on console, but I always feel overwhelmed by what's available, I'm not looking for much since the one other time I tried this the game has an aneurysm every 5 minutes. And no facial or graphical overhauls, just things that would effect gameplay or content.

Nevada skies is a nice mod that adds a lot of weather options and can be tweaked to your liking, I love playing in that nuclear winter they always wished for

if you want a bunch of guns like just a shiton of guns, weapons of the new millenia is enough guns
More perks is a cool mod, its well more perks
Alternate start is great if you have already played the game, lets you start in different locations with different backstories
Project nevada is a collection of a bunch of smaller but great changes and is also easy to tweak what you like and dont like

those are the ones I would recommend the most ignoring graphical stuff

all those should be easy to find on nexus mods, its been a while since I downloaded all these tho

OH you will most likely need the Fallout mod manager to use mods, its also on nexus

I always mod my carry weight. Already know I'm gonna loot everything, just save myself the extra trips.

There's also the tale of two wastelands mods, but you'd need fallout 3 as well to use it, since it sorta stiches the games together.

I do this in Skyrim as well. Then I steal all the food. I'm just walking around with like 5,000 cheese wheels.

I collect cheese wheels and other round food and let them roll down from High Hrothgar. Gravity is neat!

Basically lets you call down an air strike, which you can change the settings of to your liking. Not really balanced for realistic gameplay, but it is fun as hell to play around with! Although I could be slightly biased since I helped inspire its creation.
