Illinois Police are searching for a kid who had been impersonating a police officer in multiple neighborhoods as he was caught on one camera that is worrying the residents.

The City of Wheaton released photos of the suspect and shared it to police as the baby faced fake cop is said to be in his 20's and said to asked residents police related questions.

He wore a BLAZER and a fake badge when questioning residents

He's calling himself "Jeff Rushmore" and is an investigator as seen in the video

Frank Panzeca said "his voice was very high pitched, young. Typical, to me looked like a high school kid. It really did. He seemed a little nervous to me. i said if i see or hear anything i'll let you know and i closed the door"

Police shared his cell phone that he treats as a scanner and at one point states on his phone "individual is not answering the door"

The city has shared updates that said he hasn't been trying to gain entry into homes and that there wasn't a safety issue.

Would you believe this kid was a cop if he came to your door?.

Literally every detective I worked with wears a blazer, but not normally a suit. Every cop wears a suit to court.

Looks too young to be a detective.
