I closed it.

Even though there were some people offering legitimate advice which I appreciated I feel like a few were using it as an opportunity to kick me when I was down.

Trying to stay positive here, it's a pretty rough experience.

it will suck in the short term but in a couple months you'll have a new job, you'll be making money again, shit will be back on track and you'll wonder why you even wasted your time/energy on that previous job.

ive been fired before, it really sucks but try & use this time to reassess, clear your head, figure out what you really want to do etc. just my unsolicited two cents

I'm not trying to kick you while you're down, Clear. We've been telling you this shit for months and you never listen.

You legitimately need to decide if you want to follow this career path or not, and if you do you need to learn how to appeal to people better.

You don't know the whole story. My two bosses at my prior company loved me, my boss at my (former) boss gave me a glowing letter of commendation with a retention bonus, it wasn't until he hired my manager that shit started to go wrong for me.

You are absolutely correct that I need to decide if engineering is my passion or not, in fact I've been considering other careers the past few weeks. But as far how I work with others, I don't work well with certain personality types and I won't apologize for it

Being dealt shitty bosses and dealing with personality types opposed to yours are a part of working life. That's just how it is.

In this one he claims to have been fired for "working too hard" or something...he went from a huge raise, stock options, tens of thousands of dollars thrown at him in tax free retention bonuses then a new manager came in and conspired for his doom and no matter how hard we worked and "proved how hard he worked" it wasn't good enough and they terminated him
