hey ce, ive never been checked for stds and i dont know what the process is. how much do they cost?

In Sweden it's free and you pee in a cup and leave a blood test if you also check for HIV. If you have visible symptoms, you show it to the doc

Planned Parenthood. They test for for the major 4 or 5. if you don't have insurance its about $250, but most insurances cover it. they do urine test, prick your thumb for a sample and then also draw blood from your veins for a sample. takes about a week to get results..thing is they only call back if you test positive but you can always call and ask and they'll give you all info.

Local health departments are usually the cheapest. Mine was $20 without insurance. Cheaper than any co-pay my insurance would make me pay.

if you're active its always a good idea to get tested. most STDs don't show immediate symptoms....or symptoms at all.
