I'm not gonna rank all of them, but The Wastelands and Song of Sussannah were really good. It's a shame how slow and strange the first book is, because a lot of people don't make it through it, and give up on the series.

The film was really disappointing.

yessir.

it's been a long while, but I'd go - 4 > 2 3 > Wind Through the Keyhole > 5 > 1 > 7 > 6

Honestly, I like them but with books you really need to read about four chapters to see if you like it. Cause if you go down this road you have to keep going till the end.

Yes. Books 3 and 4 are the peak. Book 5 is when things start going more permanently off the rails. This isn't a bad thing, and I quite enjoyed it; it just might turn off some people who prefer a more rigid structure to worldbuilding.

Thats funny, I loved the first book. I think I was hooked, though, after a certain early scene that gave me some of the most heart-pounding exhilaration Ive ever experienced.

But its cool to know that the series gets even better.
