I've never really backed anything there except for that one porn thing, but I know a few of my favourite games (Darkest Dungeon and Hollow Knight) started as Kickstarter projects. We all mostly know about the disasters, but what are some genuinely good products that came out of Kickstarter? Not just video games. If I go on Kickstarter I can see that Mighty Number 9 and Yooka Laylee and Star Citizen were amazing success stories.
