Vindris_SNH 06/15/19 10:20:30 AM #1:	My family is decent, probably way better than most, but I still just feel like it's a chore to spend time with them (aside from my brother because he's basically my best friend). I'd much rather spend my free time with friends than family. Which I do, because it typically pays to stay close to your family. I used to hate spending time with the family, but as I got older I chilled out and started not caring so much about other people's opinions and I started tolerating their quirkiness. I can have a beer with them and have a blast, even if they are a bit annoying at times. On the other hand I can pick my friends so they are usually pretty compatible and most of my friends are great to hang out with, but once in a while one of them will completely sperg out and go on some crazy drama trip. Last week I had some friends over for a BBQ, and one started saying all sorts of shit about me. I'm like "bro, I invited you to my home, paid for your beer, your food, and am letting you stay the night. chill the fuck out." But I've never had a family member go wacko on me.
