setsuna was an experience. i played it to kill time when i worked night shift. i cant imagine choosing to play it in my free time but it was decent enough i suppose

they may have some validity but 1) indies tend to THRIVE on switch even without Nintendo's outright support--his game just failed to grab consumer attention, and 2) Nintendo doesn't owe him shit

also i didn't know it was possibly for someone to be so petulant about a developer calmly relating their experiences releasing on a platform in relevant discussions and then candidly saying that as a result of the less than ideal commercial response they would be changing up their dev strategies for future titles

but

that article isn't the entirety of the devs comments on the issue, as I've said. it's not the level of the yiik dudes but is still odd that the dev feels the need to shift the blame to Nintendo at all given the runaway success of pretty much any above average indie title on the Switch
