im not a fan of remakes in general. There's a charm to older animes games and shit. No need to constantly remake stuff to cash in on nostalgia.

There are a lot of old anime that are still amazing and have a lot of charm, but fruits basket deserved an anime with the proper ending. It was just so beautiful. Plus the anime only covered like a quarter of the manga. There is plenty of material to cover.
