I'm guessing Cate Blanchett is supposed to be the Brad Pitt to Sandra Bullock's George Clooney right? Weirdly enough as much as I love Carte Blanche she was actually my least favorite character in the movie. I found her whole wardrobe and aesthetic kinda lame.

I also thought they were gonna have Clooney do a cameo scene during the part where Sandra Bullock visits his grave/crypt thing, what a wasted opportunity there.

But yeah otherwise the movie was okay, not as bad as most rule 63 movies. Also Anne Hathaway was uncharacteristically hot in this, she hasn't seemed that hot in years, that really surprised me.

I'd say this was one of the things that took away from the movie. When they win, I wasn't cheering or anything. There wasn't that feeling of "oh no, things are looking bad I hope they can make it" like in the first movie. So the win didn't feel earned and overall I didn't care much for it.

even the supposedly bad ocean's 12 was passable because of the character interactions.

Oh hey me too! That's probably why I thought it was alright, most movies on a plane ride are better because you're just looking to pass the time. I thought Mindy was alright but if anything I thought that rihanna chick was overused. I'm not a fan of hers.

Yeah besides the Julia Roberts scene I actually liked ocean's 12 as a teen. And it's mostly because of the character interactions. I'd watch an entire movie of just George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon doing their thing.
