Building your town from nothing seems really cool. More control and a better sense of progression.

From the looks of it, you control where houses and everything is build. You can make paths and everything is earned through crafting and farming materials.

The biggest thing people are afraid of is that the area looks too small and the island is too barren, but we have reason to believe it's only barren at the beginning as the museum has been confirmed and the trailer showed a more developed town with Villagers moved in.

Really? It seemed to get positive reactions from what I saw.

They seem negative on the dedicated board and on CE

Big fans like Josh Thomas and other youtubers loved what was shown

Also the live chat loved it

it looks just like the gamecube/3ds ones so i like it. i'm sure it's gonna be bigger and have more to do then those ones. but in the end of the day it's still animal crossing and you know about what to expect from it. i'm curious to see what online stuff they add to it.
