I played several sports growing up and it doesn't feel good to demolish the other team. I'm not gonna let up just because I'm on a better team, but I'm not gonna celebrate my 9th goal as hard as the first couple. It's not that the Americans shouldn't be happy that they won, or that they're scoring goals, or that they're breaking records, etc. it's that eventually it just becomes you being a sore winner. And yeah I know the scores matter in later rounds, I've been watching the world cups for 20 years, the issue is how hard they're celebrating at the point where they have dominance.
