So the other day I got in argument because I called Ice Ice Baby an oldie. I knew it didn't sound right as soon as I said it, but my girlfriend made fun of me for it so i got stubborn and dug my heels in.

But as I argued my point, it started to make sense. In the 90s, oldies were songs from the 50s, 60s, and sometimes 70s. It's not a genre, just old music. So it makes sense that for every decade you move on, a new decade should be included as having oldies. Since it was ~30 years in the 90s, today Ice Ice Baby could potentially stand as an oldie.
