So I'm still a little lost but after Light ordered Ryuk to strip the book from him and he lost his memory, did he order Ryuk to lend the book to some proxy at this corporation until later? Where did this 3rd kira come from? He kinda just shows up outta nowhere and it's weird to see Light and L work together to catch him lol

When the 3rd Kira got the eyes and wanted to drive back to HQ to look at surveillance footage to get the Matsuba's name. Why didn't he just look at the broadcast? Wouldn't that do the same thing?

I Low key wanted Kira III to have a bigger role. I was a fan of his character design and felt his motivations could have easily padded the show another 12 episodes had been more subtle and eventually struck the eye deal

though that bit where dude played drunk and fell to the balcony below was GENIUS

yup, this is where the show really falls off, it's pretty much all filler at this point

I will pit it oit there though that the bit wrapping up Lights dupe of innocence, that scene in the car where his dad is prepared and willing to blow the brains out his own sons some piece....that shit was tense af when it aired...having not read the manga and waiting a week between eps, I was genuinely concerned they were gonna wrap it up with a 2 or 3 episode spectacle right then and there
