Im sure theres loads of reasons why its legal, like... common sense isnt common and labour laws will make businesses move out the country etc.

In the latest electioins in my country, its basically 1% vote per x spent in their campaign.

And ive heard what kind of money is spent on the elections in the US :O Crazy

And i get it... commercials work. Its a reason why "that" company spends millions of dollars on commercials that doesnt even feel like works.They probably wouldnt if it didnt

Ive always favored: Get money out of politics and let the argument prevail!

Do you think that lobbyist are needed in a democracy? Or are they part of the problem?

Well Im a lobbyist so I say yes lol. The money is insane. But you have to be able to actually convince people and turn people to your side or you aint getting paid anything.

It imbalances democracy because those with money have a greater influence on decision making than those who don't, skewing the system in their favour.
