If they have a no gun policy then how is it anti cop? Maybe he shouldn't be picking up jewelry on the clock/in uniform. Dont be stupid.

Maybe they shouldn't be fucking sticklers. It's a cop. Let him carry the damn gun in, Jesus.

Maybe he should stop acting like a child and understand that as a customer hes being held to the same standards as any other customer. Its not that difficult. Hes not above anyone in that context just because hes a cop. Cant leave your gun in the car? Then come back at a time when you can. Very simple. Youd think most adults would understand that.

Dude as a doctor who spends every weekday working 4 hours before retail opens and 3 hours after retail closes, I can tell you its not that simple.

Yea that unfortunate. The bank tends to close before Im off of work everyday too so when I need to get there I plan accordingly. Im sorry, I get that your profession might make things difficult but that still doesnt mean you should be allowed special previlages. At the very least it doesnt mean you should make a big deal about it and try to get the manager in trouble.

You can tell which people are bias against cops ITT. They try to use excuses like they're "just a cop" not taking anything about the job into consideration or how important it is.

Makes you wonder what youtube/Facebook/worldstar video they watched that warped their mind so much to hate on a public servant on a lunch break trying to pick up a ring for his wife.

You have a literal cop in your jewellery store and you want him to disarm himself. How dumb is that just by itself. That's the safest your store will be for the next 10 minutes, but you want him to get rid of the gun for a safety protocol. Wut

Yea. The cop is a customer and follows the same procedures all customers do. He doesnt get special treatment just because of the job he chose. What is so hard to understand about that?

What is so hard to understand about the point behind rules instead of mindlessly following them?

There was nothing mindless about it. All Im saying is its asinine to get upset at the manager. Its crazy that the cop made a big deal about it. He wasnt there as a cop. He wasnt responding to a call. He wasnt performing cop duties. He was there as a customer and its perfectly reasonable for the manager to expect him to follow the same protocol as any other customer. But hes a cop! Doesnt mean anything.
